With more than 10 years of experience in the industry of Public Relations, Doa’a has an extensive background working on both the agency as well as the client side.
She started her PR career with a multinational PR agency based in Jeddah, and remained with for four years as PR consultant. During that time, Doa’a was responsible for planning and implementing PR plans for several clients, including Procter & Gamble (P&G), Saudi Arabian Railways, Lay’s, Adidas, Johnson & Johnson, MakeUp Forever, hp, Google, Castrol, and Volkswagen.
Doa’a then left the agency to pursue diverse challenges working with Unilever KSA as a PR Executive. She was the first ever appointed in-house PR person to work at Unilever KSA. Her PR expertise was put to action in the Saudi market on all Unilever’s beauty brands (Ponds, Fair & Lovely, Dove, Vaseline, Sunsilk, CLEAR).
In a more challenging shift in her PR career, she then joined Hyundai KSA as the PR Manager for Mohammed Yousuf Naghi Motors. She and her team managed media relations across different provinces in Saudi Arabia, while she also managed events and drafted bilingual press kits. In addition to a fair share of internal communication practices, compiling and editing bi-monthly newsletters, conducting team building activities, and managing media trips to several destinations and headquarters.
Doa’a was then recalled to agency life, with the same agency where she started her career, but this time as the KSA PR Director, to oversee the agency in Jeddah & Riyadh, and to manage all Saudi accounts & activities. Clients’ expectations, as well as media relationships, were sustained while ongoing brand awareness was preserved among journalists, bloggers, and social media influencers. Among her clients’ portfolio was P&G including, Ariel, Tide, Downy, Fairy, Febreze, Gillette, and Braun. In addition to hp, Kabrita, honor, Rosatom, JA Resorts, and Souq.com.
Today, Doa’a acts as the strategic mind behind every step we take towards/ for our clients, putting her multinational experience and well-searched insights into action.
